Nestled in the scenic beauty of Swainsboro, GA just off HWY 56, the iconic Swainsboro Raceway has been a cornerstone of automobile racing since its inception in 1964. Initially, the 3/8 mile dirt track welcomed fans to witness racing across three divisions with a grandstand capacity of a mere 100 spectators.

Over the decades, Swainsboro Raceway has expanded and transformed remarkably. The raceway has seen significant upgrades under the passionate previous owners, Paul and Debra Purvis, who have brought their love for the sport to the establishment. It transitioned from a small venture to a buzzing hub with an office open six days a week, ensuring easy communication between competitors, fans, sponsors, owners, and officials. Today, under the proud new ownership of JJ and Dana Williams, Swainsboro Raceway is alive many Saturday nights, featuring multiple racing and go kart divisions. The venue has evolved to accommodate 3,500 race enthusiasts, boasting a family-friendly section, dedicated pit stalls, modern amenities, the Fan Zone parking area, and the Bud Room for refreshments. What's more? There's a VIP viewing experience with three luxuriously furnished, air-conditioned towers with cable TV – perfect for special occasions.

Expect a bustling atmosphere with an average attendance of over 2,500 adults and around 102 cars every racing night. With over 500 drivers from across the US gracing our track annually, we proudly host headline events like Schaeffer’s Southern National Super Late Models, Pine Tree 100, Fire Cracker 100, and Crate Late Model Southern Dream. Plus, the annual Preacher Feature, Teacher Feature, Ms. Swainsboro Raceway Pageant, and special days for young enthusiasts make us a true family entertainment hotspot.

Adding another feather to our cap in recent years, Swainsboro Raceway welcomed one of the finest Go Kart facilities in the South. With 13 divisions and accommodating drivers as young as five, our kart track boasts over 100 pit stalls and has seen over 300 karts at single events.
